Attention Parents - Visit Reports now in Beta

Posted in Community forum, but of special interest (maybe) to our parent members:

Since the early days of our CC community, we've had lots of people report on their college visits. The problem has always been for new members interested in a college to find those visit details. So, we've created a new way to share your college visit data - go to our new College Visit Reports section, and fill in the simple form. There are a few specific questions where you can rate your visit and provide one-liner comments on those topics, and then a big text area where you can provide all of the details you want.

This is a "beta" version, so we'll post "bug report" and "suggestions for improvment" threads, too.

As I post this, the visit report area is EMPTY... virgin territory for you college touring experts. So, don't go looking for great info yet, but if you've done a visit recently and want to share, give it a try!

Visit reports are moderated, so please keep them relevant and appropriate.

PLUS, we'll be giving away some great CC prizes to our early visit report posters, so post early and often to maximize your chance to score some CC gear or other cool stuff. We'll post the details in a different thread.

And, if I haven't said it lately, thanks for sharing your college experience and advice! CC couldn't be the great resource it is without all of you who share your experience and help out newcomers. Thank you!!!

When you click on each of the 3 schools they all link to NC state.

Let's me out. ;) I could have handled one or the other. The pressure is just too great.

Wait!!!! Prizes. What PRIZES? There is a prize?

Looks like the "viewing" option has issues. Programmer will check it out.

OK, we've got most of the issues cleared up and made some improvements based on feedback from members.

Feel free to check it out, and, if you have visited a college recently, try filling out a report and let us know what you think!
