ATTN: Wharton students: WHARTON courses-- what percent liberal arts?

I went to the website…checked out the credit requirements.

I know that in total it added up to a MAX of 13-15 credits dealing with humanities, liberal arts, etc…

I was always pretty set on getting a liberal arts education…no other degree but a B.A. was of interest to me…and then Wharton came along…haha, and let’s just say I’m not so set anymore (thankfully).

However, I’m still a humanities girl at heart-- I love my liberal arts…and though I would love a Wharton education…I’m just concerned that I won’t get enough lib arts in there along with all the business stuff.

How has the Wharton education worked out for you, with regards to my concerns mentioned above? Is there enough lib arts mixed in there? Or is it all business?

What percentage of the classes will actually involve intellectually stimulating discussion (and for now, let’s say business and money and econ talk does not fit in this category)?

I’m sure most Wharton kids are all really bright…but are most Wharton kids only business-minded folk, or is there a good mix of “intellectually curious” students in there too?

don't know if this will help, but @ the wharton lunch they said about 50% of wharton kids' courses are in the college, and of course if you can fit in more you can do that if you want to dual-degree w/ the college

One third is liberal arts. One third is business basics. One third is advanced business, I believe.
