Auburn's moment of shame

Wow - that’s disheartening.

Only thing more disheartening is that this anti-male college culture (guilty until proven innocent) is wholly widespread in the culture of US universities – Auburn is no exception, rather just one of hundreds of examples. The ground zero for this cultural bias was, of course, the Duke lacrosse scandal – 80+ faculty members lined up behind the accuser to decry the alleged horrors of the Duke kids’ actions, none of which in the end proved to be true. All were acquitted. Today, the prosecutor in that case is serving time and the accuser has killed her boyfriend. We have yet to see an apology from the faculty or the administration at Duke at to their behavior in this incident. Don’t expect any apology from Auburn as well. This is all part of the “feminization” of America – a term I saw only recently to describe this women first-men last phenomenon, but a clear cultural tipping point.
