DS is auditioning shortly. It’ll be his first on-campus audition for a MT school (we’re new to this as parents, as well) The audition guidlines, as I understand it, suggest 32 bars and 60 seconds. One of the songs he’d like to do is written in fast 3/4, but could have been in 6. his preferred selection is 50 bars that runs ~55 seconds. acceptable?
Is the actual restriction 60 seconds/song, or 32 bars (at whatever temp/measure it happens to be at) or both?
