Auditon at NYU for acting.

I am auditioning at NYU for acting. What kind of questions they could ask after my audition?
Thank you for sharing:)

I was just accepted into the program today! They have you run your monologues and, for me, my auditor had me go over the first one again in a different way. Then the interview followed. We both sat down at the table and he asked me about my interests, hobbies, if I had a job, what made me want to pursue acting, etc. etc. It felt more like a casual conversation than an interview and he was super personable and nice.

Best of luck to you from someone who is just finishing up this whole process!

Congrats on your acceptance Ksologist! If I may ask, how did you find out? Snail mail letter?

First off, break a leg at your audition! And my audition experience was quite similar. We were separated into two groups with about 10 people each. Then we went into a room and did breathing exercises to help us relax and get used to everything that was going on. After that, I went in and performed my two monologues, and then sat down for the interview. They asked me what I did in my spare time, where I was from, if theatre were sucked out of the planet what I would then do with my life, sum up my life thus far in one sentence, what my favourite character/ play was, and several other questions that related personally to me or what was on my resume. It was kind of fun :P

Thanks for sharing it with me:) Can u tell me more of this process? I will be very appreciate:))
