Will the August SAT curve be better than the past, just because of the historical blunder in June?

curve depends on performance applied to difficulty no? Meaning no such thing as better curve. That wasnt a historical blunder. It was an easy test. You missed too many it hurt.
I didn’t actually take the June SAT. I was just hoping College Board would throw whoever takes the August SAT a bone. I know there was a large uproar over the scoring of the test, so I was just thinking that they might try to make “amends” in a way in August/
No, it’s more complicated. The SAT isn’t curved afterward like an ordinary in-school test. The process is called equating and it is predetermined based on the difficulty of the test. The quality of the equating does depend, in part, on having tests be not far apart in level of difficulty.
