hi i’m new to this so if anyone who is a freshman or just a student at boco & could inform me about how your day usually goes that would be awesome!
Hi @fnfan16, my D is a freshman at BoCo so I can give you an idea of her schedule. She is taking Writing Workshop (English), Acting class, Movement class, Voice & Speech, Musical Theater, Intro to Theater, Piano, Private Voice lessons, Tap, Ballet and Jazz. Each class meets at least 1 1/2 to 3 hours per week. She spends about about 28-30 hours per week attending classes. There are many, many performance opportunities so there’s a lot of time spent auditioning and preparing for auditions, then a ton of rehearsal time if you are cast in a show. Teching one show a semester is a requirement (at least for freshmen). This time of year there are summer stock auditions. So in a nutshell, it’s a very busy schedule but there’s still time for social activities and fun with friends. She has made so many awesome friends there. Her class is a very fun and friendly group. She LOVES it there. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any specific questions about Boco. I will help as much as I can.
Thank you very much!
