Average GPA for College Undergraduates.

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I was trying to figure these questions out through intense googling but so far, have come up with nothing. Basically, what is the Average GPA for students attending top Privates and Ivys. I realize this is a really general question but i am rather interested in Pre Med. So i am trying to get a better feeling of the GPAs that are achievable typically at specific schools. By the way, i do not mean HS GPA but the GPA once you get to the college. Is a 4.0 basically impossible? What would be needed to get into top tier med schools? So many questions! Thanks!</p>

<p>I know you need 3.5+ to get into the top 20 med schools...</p>

<p>I don't think a 4.0 is impossible, but English courses are what make it hardest to attain.</p>
