USNWR says that graduates from Ross make an average of 90K for their starting salaries. I've talked a lot of people and they say this is exagerrated.

Can you guys give me some insight into this? Do Ross grads really make this much starting out?

My computer won't read PDF files

The median base salary is $55,000 but this does not include signing bonuses or other guaranteed compensation. It also does not include incentive bonuses. The starting salary should not be judged by itself. If the USNWR number includes the other items (total compensation), it may be fairly accurate... however, if it is merely refering to the salary component, it is exaggerated.

For example the highest number of BBA grads work in the Northeast (about 43%), where the median starting salary was $60,000 with a mean signing bonus of $10,000 and mean other compensation of $30,000. However, while most get a signing bonus, less than half reported "other reported compensation." The report says nothing about incentive-based bonus compensation.

Waleedf, the 90k is for MBA graduates, which then is NOT an exaggeration. If you look at the median salaries of the top MBA programs, they are well over 100k.
