Average Student - How can I improve my application?

Hello all, I am a rising senior, and I am really hoping to get into at least 1 Ivy League… Can you guide me into boosting my chances of admission by improving my app?

ACT: 35 (36 35 36 34)

SAT II: didn’t take

Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.97

Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): ~10%

AP (place score in parenthesis): taking a few as a senior, so won’t be reported

IB (place score in parenthesis): Math, Bio, ESS, History, English, Spanish, TOK (theory of knowledge)

EDIT: I should also add that I have done extensive scientific research totaling over 150 hours and I have a “business” on Amazon selling tree saplings.

How is being in the top 10% of your class with a 3.97 GPA and ACT 35 considered “average”?

On this website… It seems like even that isn’t enough. Everyone here seems to have amazing test scores and GPAs.

The only help you need is to understand the value of having a diversified list of schools and the goal is to get into at least one top school not a particular school. Ivy League schools are not the only top schools.
