Average student looking at selective schools. Chance if you can relate!

Hi, I'm a junior at a public high school with a grammy award winning fine arts department.

We don't have any class ranks but my rank is around 5 in my grade. I have taken all honors and AP classes and by senior year, i will have taken 8 AP classesOut of a 6.00 weighted gpa scale, i average a 5.6 and unweighted, i have a 4.00 because i have received straight As so far.

I got a 34 on my ACT and I am still taking more ACTs to bump up my scores. I will take couple SAT subject tests later in the year

My current and future extra curricular activities + number of years:
Service club (school sponsored volunteering program) 4
Math team 4
Debate team 1
Honors chamber choir 3
Madrigals (top choir) 1
Concert band 2
Symphonic band (top band) 2
Marching band (2nd place band in state) 4
Drum major 2
Show choir (dance captain) 3
Principals advisory council
Volunteer position at local hospital (100+ hours)
Freshman volleyball 1
Varsity tennis 3
National honors society
Lit center tutor 2

Ive attended leadership clinics that my teachers have recommend me for and Drum major camp for 2 years.

I hope to get wonderful rec letters from my favorite teachers, and I'm a great essay writer.

I was wondering if my grades and various leadership positions in many activities can help me get accepted to the following schools:university of chicago (note my brother is currently attending school there), washu in st louis, northwestern, UPenn, vandervilt, or brown. Or just selective schools in general.

Thank you in advance for your honest input.

I clicked on the thread expecting an average student.

I was disappointed.

trollllllllll

Maybe I’m not that average? Feel free to chance me please

Well you have the credentials to go to school anywhere in the country so it basically just comes down to your essays at this point.

Are you urm or first generation?

I am not a urm but I am a minority and Asian

Definitely above average.

So what are my chances?

Probably better than that of an average student. I can tell you that much

Thank you but would anyone like to answer my question?

Nobody can answer your question. Your qualified enough to get into these schools, but admissions is so random that you might be rejected from all of them for various reasons. You might also get accepted to all of them. You should apply to the schools you like and see what happens.
