Average Transfer GPA is 3.436

According to this article:

<a href="http://www.cals.wisc.edu/alumni/ecals/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/report-on-the-class-of-2008.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.cals.wisc.edu/alumni/ecals/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/report-on-the-class-of-2008.pdf</a></p>

The average transfer GPA is 3.436
I applied as transferring as a Junior and only have a college GPA of 3.37

Is this average inflated by those coming from 'easier' two year UW schools?

I'm scared!

One more question, I'm currently going to Winona State, a University in Minnesota but I'm originally from Wisconsin, do they like bringing Wisconsin residents back to the state? Hopefully it'll help.

Remember an average is not a minimum. Also note that many students do transfer, including from the tech schools. All you can do is apply and see what happens. Good luck.
