Will I get in?
Hello. As of this year, I will be a male 10th grader at a very well regarded private all boys school in New Jersey. I am applying as a repeat sophomore. I was wondering if someone could give me some feedback on and how my chances are of, hopefully, getting accepted into a top prep schools. Some examples would be Salisbury, Kent, Avon Old Farms and Lawrenceville. Preferably, I would like to attend Lawrenceville or Salisbury, but, all four of the schools listed above are good.

In my academics I get all As. In 8th grade I got a couple of Bs, but not in high school. I am in all the honors or advanced honors classes and go up in Latin. I got 3 gold medals on the national Latin exam (one perfect score). I excel in math and science, but I like to read.

To summarize, I am applying to kent, Salisbury, Avon old farms, and lawrenceville. I know people from kent and Salisbury (which might boost my chances). Thank you for your input

My son has applied to attend AOF next year. How do well do students from the west coast integrate into east coast schools? Do the dorm rooms have enough light during the winter or are they more like caves? Are they cold? How is the food? Do athletics and academics seem balanced to you? Thanks!

@Mrblueeyes66: Please do not hijack a thread–OP said that this was a thread to only ask questions about AOF, not for chances. If you want to be chanced, create your own thread–you will definitely get more responses then, too!
