Who all are waiting for their SAT scores tomorrow? I'm waiting for maths, chem and physics. Less than 24 hours left :/

Awaiting SAT I results…

When do they post the scores – at midnight Eastern time today?

I believe they get posted at 5 AM EST

what do you need chem, physics for? Taking all 3 at the same time? hardcore.

a little more than 12 hours left!
i am waiting for math 1

@latuza :- it was torture writing all three
I actually decided to write maths the previous night.(to improve my score.) Big mistake.
11 hours left!

Which test date are you all waiting for?

26 Jan, 2013

I’m so nervous

@Confusedabtuni
I can imagine the pain! I planned to take math 2 and crammed for chem for 1.5 hour the night before. Good thing the chem this time felt easier than the previous 2 times.
I take it you’re Canadian since you said to “write” exam instead of to “take” exam.
Good luck~

^Really? I’m Canadian, but I say “take” usually.

Some Canadians say “write”, some say “take”. I usually say “take” but sometimes say “write” depending on the context. I doubt it has that much to do with nationality.

@latuza :- I had my school exams going on at that time (they got postponed) so I barely studied for SAT. I studied physics, I just did ONE test in chem and I decided to even take maths the previous night. Thankfully all three of them were easy but maths was really bad for me due to lack of practise I guess. I couldn’t finish the paper. I will definitely be giving an exam again in may for maths at least.
I feel the tests were way easier than the oct SAT. I gave maths in dec too. That was very easy. This was a little harder compared to that.
Nope I’m not Canadian
I’m Indian living in UAE. I guess that’s how we are taught in school. I have been ‘writing’ exams since a little kid.
Maybe because we learn British English? Or could just be the way it is said here.
Argh… Already 14th feb here :/

ooh sorry, “write” exam is more british english I suppose.
so then is it kind of unfair for you guys to take the SAT since it’s based on American English?
Wow international students study hard~ so you’re applying to US colleges?
There are so many Indian engineers in Silicon Valley- smart and study hard.
Less than 3 hours to go!

Also in UK they refer to “majors” as “courses”, right?
kind of confused browsing through UK college websites.

It’s alright. I guess those writing the SAT 1 might be facing some problem. The main problem we face while writing SAT subject tests are the disparities in teaching methods. Some topics are covered better in US while some go more in depth in ours. Nope, not at the moment. Since I don’t live in India, I can apply to colleges in India through SAT subject tests too.
I’ll probably give Singapore a try too.
Yup, that’s my ultimate goal. I really want to come and work in Silicon Valley. (I’m going to do computer engineering.)
I plan to do my post graduation in US.
If I may ask, what are you planing to do?
Yes, 2 and half hours left :/

Hmm… Yup for us majoring is only after graduation :)

How was it? My chem was pretty fine but maths and physics was really bad. Is it possible to send the scores for hand checking?

Yes, it’s possible to doublecheck scores like that, but the VAST majority of the time, they were marked correctly and you just did badly. Sorry bud.
