how important are awards and achievements in the application process? What happens if you haven't won first place in a mathc ompetition or you do not rank #2 in the state for some sport? What if you are just well-rounded?

Thats how I was and I got into schools so don't worry about it.

By being well-rounded, or by having awards?

Not everyone can be second in the state "for some sport", but you're going to have a lot better chance of getting in if you are. I would hope that awards and achievements have a significant impact on the decision, if they are important enough.

Guys, many, many people get into BS without any accomplishments that rank even 100th in the state. CHILL.

hahaha yeah imean im putting down that i went to nationals for fencing even tho i completely tanked :D

just write it in, its gotta count for something loll
