Awards and Scholarships in the Honors section of the Common App

Hey everyone,

I received an $80,000 scholarship for Outstanding Achievement in Science from a university at the state science fair. However, I will only be able to use the scholarship if I attend that specific university. Would listing that I received this scholarship and saying which university I received it from on the Common App (in the Honors section) adversely affect my chances of being admitted into a different university or receiving a merit scholarship?

List the award you got at the science fair that led to the scholarship, but I would not list the scholarship.
