<p>I don't know anything about that award, but it certainly sounds interesting, which may make you seem more interesting... I think it's a plus.</p>

<p>I do not have many chances to recieve anything at my school besides service awards....will this look bad? My school does not offer AP classes either. I will be taking Calc 1 and 2 at Northwestern this summer and will most likely apply for engineering (f.)...Will I still have a chance?</p>
<p>Colleges evaluate you based on what was available to you. A student in a small public in a small town will obviously have fewer opportunities than someone who goes to a rich public in urban areas.</p>
<p>Thanks! Yea I used to go to one of the best public schools in the country in a suburb of Chicago...but then I mved to Green Bay WI. I now go to a smallprivate school here. They are ok but I feel that they are not truly "College Prep." Most people here go to U of WI Madison.</p>
