Awards for undergraduates?

While comparing between Rice and Purdue, I realized that Purdue has many awards for undergraduates or international students that display excellence in academics or whatsoever.
However, I couldn't find anything at Rice except the honor roll and latin honors.. While other universities seem to have annual awards or competitions (usually bearing someone's name), Rice lacked them.
The only annual competition is the Engineering week thingy. :/

Oh yea, to clarify, the awards I meant are distinctions, not scholarship awards.

Rice isn’t really about that. It is not like it is a large school with a few standout students, so it is hard to give awards to individuals. That being said, the residential colleges do give Alumni-named awards, but not really major-specific. What is your intended major? Depending on your interests there may be competitions you could partake in. For example, the CS Club hosts and annual and rapidly growing hackathon.
