Awards?

What are some of the awards that colleges see as important. I have many awards, but I'm not too sure what to put down on the application. Also, if I took the ACT and put that on the application would it hurt to simply not put down my SAT score? I haven't taken any SAT II's and my SAT score of 1300 ish seems somewhat low compared to my 34 on the ACT. Any advice?

If you have a 34 on your ACT, I would just forget about your 1300 altogether, don't bother putting it on your applications, it won't hurt, as it's not required to have both.

As for awards, I'm pretty sure that awards for scholastic achievement within a school are not so important. If you're at the top of your class, your rank will be enough to show them that. I mean, Student of the Year or something is important and you should mention it, but some people post "Highest Grade in US History Class in Sophomore Year" and that's just not really significant and quite frankly will make you look desperate or as if you're trying to compensate for some weakness you feel you have. Not necessarily a good thing.
But bottom line, don't try to guess what the college wants to see. If it's important to you, put it down, you never know what will make the difference.
