Alright, to keep things short and sweet, I'm a pre-med freshman who's taking biology, chemistry, biology lab, calculus, and sociology.

I was already a little stressed about that heavy coursework overloading me during my first semester of freshman year, adjusting to college and all, but I decided to just go for it in the end.

The problem lies in the fact that I never really had to study much in high school... Don't get me wrong, I wasn't a genius or anything, but it was really never all that difficult for me to cram a little before a test and pull out an A if I ever needed.

People have told me over and over again that college is different, that you can't cram, and that EVERYONE has to study, and I've tried to heed their advice but it's just been so hard for me making that huge leap in study habits. I'm awful at it-- I don't know how to study, and because of it, my grades are really suffering. I pay attention in class and do study every day, but my methods aren't working at all apparently.

I just don't really know what to do. It's possible for me to end up with all As for the semester, but only if I figure out NOW how to study. It's frustrating because it's not like I'm totally blowing off school, I go to every class.

Does anyone have any tips at all on what I should be doing, or have any study tips that help them...? I took calculus in high school so that's not a problem for me, but I'm dying in biology and chemistry.
