I was just wondering which one is better in the long run and why? Thanks.

Computer Science. No explanation needed.

Which one do you find more interesting?
With Computer Science it might be easier initially to find a job after college. However, our cognitive science depart is also great. You put a little effort into talking to professors, researching and decent grades, then you will have tons of opportunities. Cognitive Science is very useful in designing things, and you can always learn to program online. If you had asked about Psych, Sociology, Anthropology, or even physics,I would just repeat what Bouncer said. However, Cognitive Science is a very useful major if you put in the effort finding internships and research positions. So pick which one you like more.

You should study what’s interest you. The Senior VP of engineering at Twitter studied Cognitive Science at UCSD

Study what you enjoy. You can choose to major in Cognitive Science and minor in CS.
