Hi I am confused on the BA/MD programs. If there is a 7 year BA/MD program and your accepted do you come in the first day of school as a med school student
@7college7, a BA/MD program links the BA degree and MD degree together to where you do not have to go thru the traditional AMCAS application process – or it is greatly modified (i.e. much lower MCAT score required, etc.). You are an undergraduate student for the undergraduate section of the program. So for example, in Northwestern’s HPME program, you do 3 years of undergraduate education at the Evanston undergraduate campus (where you’re an undergraduate student like everyone else), and then do 4 years at the Feinberg medical school. You’re not officially considered a medical student until you start taking medical school coursework.
Yeah I get it. Thank you!(=
