hey guys so im thinking about applying to the Baccalaureate/M.D program. I have noticed that many people with great stats got rejected and people with lower stats and no science ECs got in. So what do you think the program is looking for?

any inputs?!

cocoaluna, if no one responds to your questions here, it’s likely they don’t know the details of this extremely small and selective program. Just like with general admissions to USC (and most other selective private university) a high GPA, ranking, and test scores will get you considered, but it’s the letters of recommendation, personal essays, depth of passion, quality of EC and service involvement, and awards and other out-of-school success which will push you over the top.

Good luck.

try posting on studentdoctor forums (google it) assuming MD is medical doctor

your questions will be answered in this forum, under USC’s Bacc/MD thread. good luck applying!
