<p>Bachelor of arts tends to have less requirements and more humanity requirements. Bachelor of science is much higher regarded and respected.</p>
<p>COLsen573 is right, you typically want to go for the B.S in any technical field. Most graduate schools feel the same way.</p>
<p>It depends.</p>
<p>If your school offers both a BA and a BS, go with the latter. But if you have interests outside science, a BA wont kill your prospects.</p>
<p>My school- despite its renowned physics department- doesn't offer a BS at all. But I'm not worried about it.</p>
