Pill start this off by saying that I am relatively new to the college selection process, so forgive me if this is a silly question.

As of now, my mind has been looking towards the possible study of Computer Science in college. Although, one specific college I had in mind only offers a BS in CS, and I was looking forward to getting a masters, as I know it should open up more career opportunities. If I had gone to said school and pursued a bachelor's in CS, how would I go about getting my Master's from there? Would I be going to a new school after my 4 years of study are up? If so, how common/uncommon is it?

Sorry if the question was a bit confusing.
Thanks in advance!

It is very common in all fields that one would go to a different school for their MS and actually the only way it can happen if your college doesn’t offer an MS. You would apply in a similar fashion as you would apply for an undergraduate degree. You send in the application and supporting materials such as your college transcripts and GRE scores. It is really not a big deal. The only thing might is you might be the new kid on the block since there will probably be students who attended that school together as undergraduates. As for suggestions, I could go down the list of CS rankings, but you can do that. It really depends on what you like in a college - cost, campus, location, faculty, area of interest, etc.
