I'm going back tomorrow...another summer vacation that lasted a good 10 minutes. How about you guys?

I also just finished all my summer assignments

In two weeks. I have no summer homework. Not sure if that means I’m a lazy underachiever or if my school is just lenient with the way they allow us to spend our summers.

I back on Wednesday of next week. I didn’t have any summer homework, so I’m just using this last week to get myself in the zone for next year.

I’m going back on the second (BLECHH). Junior year is right around the corner and ugh I have to see all those kids and ugh new freshmen and ugh 4 new teachers and ugh yeah. But it should be fairly entertaining. My friends will have a lot to talk about since there was so much drama at band camp for them.

I’m also coming back on the second, and I was supposed to find a news article every week for eight weeks but I’m going to have to find all of them at once now. I also have to write up a research proposal but that’s because I’m doing a lab and it’s only for the second semester so I have to be all ready by the time that starts.

Oh yeah, and then there’s college apps. Real fun stuff right there.

I’m going back on the third (my eighteenth birthday -_-) and it’s the second straight year that school starts on September 3rd. My school doesn’t have any summer reading programs. I’ve already applied to four schools :)

I went back today. I actually was ready to go back to school, and have good classes, so it’s not a big deal for me.

I go back September 4th :(( I just want school to start already.

I hate all of you. I start on the 18th next week. I have to do a critical analysis of Wuthering Heights, a short response on what makes my life worth writing about, an essay on what writing is, analyzing 5 news articles on what the authors stance is, and I have to memorize 80 terms. Yeah… Haven’t even started on most of it. Hahaha. Also I’m taking AP Stats. Is there any math I could look up that will give me an edge?

We start back on Wednesday (the 13th) and I’m getting done with some last minute homework.

I’m also rushing to get my parking permit approved by tomorrow otherwise I cannot drive to school! The bastards didn’t include that we had to have one when we got our schedules so I only found out when our class president alerted all us drivers that we had to have them otherwise campus police wouldn’t allow us into the student parking lot.

I go back on the 27th, and I get my classes on the 19th (fingers crossed that I get good teachers!). I really, really don’t want to go back. I’m taking Honors Chem (at the beginning of the school year last year, all the sophomores I met said not to take it because the teachers are really bad but really hard) and Honors Precalc (yay for higher-level math courses! but apparently all the sophomores do really well in the class). Joy. And I have a feeling I’m going to be doing too many ECs, but I don’t want to drop any.

My summer has been full of Chem tutoring (it’s impossible to get an A in Honors Chem without it; this at least gives me a chance), Psych at the community college, and studying. I hate Biology–I have no idea why I’m even taking the subject test, but whatever.

I start high school (and freshman year) on the 25th. I’m pretty excited and nervous at the same time.

@dragonfruit18 Have fun and try lots of activities! High school’s not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

@topaz1116 Thanks! (: I’m planning on doing doing cross country and some clubs. Do you know how much time sports take up?

@dragonfruit18 At my school, they take up an hour or two after school every day during the season (for us cross country is fall season). A lot of people do them; you should be able to manage. One of my friends does water polo and swimming (winter and spring seasons–she swims around 2 1/2 hours a day), and she managed all-honors just fine (:

We start on Wednesday the 13th and I’ve done my AP Chemistry summer homework but not my APWH one since it’s due on September 11th which is a long time from now. Also I was at a summer program so I was busy. How long are your summer vacations everyone? Mine was 9 weeks.

Mine is 10 weeks… Thankfully, it’s still going on (but I have Band Camp next week, which I’ve heard is no fun).

@dsi411 Mine is about 11 weeks long!

I get back on the 18th, gonna be a senior and I don’t turn 17 till after school starts…
