Back to School Jitters

So I can’t believe my winter break is ending. It seems to have gone by so fast and while I am finding myself rather bored at home I am more nervous to go back to school. Does anyone else feel this way? Everyone else seems to be super excited to go back to school and I’m sitting here wishing I had more time at home. It’s not that I hate school it is just I am incredibly nervous for my new classes and balancing everything.

Is this normal? I feel somewhat alone right now and overwhelmed. I have put off packing up my stuff because it makes me sick looking at it.

No, I am also really nervous and terrified especially since I transferred to a new school. But I usually always get nervous going back to school after a long period of break. You’re not alone

It’s normal to feel this way. It seems that when I take a break from the action, I get nervous and uneasy when I know that I have to go back to school. I don’t know why that is. I mean, I am adjusted to college from the first semester, but I still feel nervous. I think it’s because the semester brings new challenges and opportunities one may have not had during the previous semester.

You’ll adjust very quickly, and it’ll seem like you never even left.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I am going to take the first week nice and easy to slowly ease myself back into the fray.
