Back to the office treat boxes

Our department staff (9 people) must report back to the office next week. I’m putting together little treat boxes for each person’s desk, and I am looking for more low-cost ideas. So far, I have packets of instant coffee, lip balm, hand sanitizer, Advil, gum, and cookies.

Other ideas? Thanks in advance!

It’s very thoughtful of you. My feedback is not everyone chews gum (maybe breath freshener instead) and unless cookies are individually pre-packaged I wouldn’t eat it.
I don’t know if this would be too costly for you, but insulated water bottle would be very practical and very green for the environment.

What about adding an assortment of individually wrapped hard candy?

I like the water bottle idea.

I would be appreciative of anything I got, but of your list the only thing I would use is the hand sanitizer (I don’t chew gum, use Advil or lip balm, drink coffee, and I am dieting so I stay away from cookies). Maybe some cute office supply type things - like fun post it notes or note pads?

I know it sounds silly, but my daughter loves post it notes. She was jumping for joy when she got some as a gift from a co-worker. I think people would like them in an office treat box,.

I think that’s a wonderful idea. You’re off to a good start. I’d include sealed tea bags, a clementine, and some individually wrapped hard candies. I’d also probably pick up a fun coffee/tea mug for each person to individualize the boxes and use it to hold the coffee, tea, and candy.

If I look in my office area and think about the “little touches” that make my day more pleasant, in addition to the things mentioned above…
Bud vase with one flower (I bring in a picked zinnia from my yard right now)
Mini tube of hand lotion
Extra disposable masks
Small stash of chocolate in a drawer

Thanks for all of the wonderful ideas! I really do need to keep costs down (no budget), so I have to stick with low-cost items, but I’m definitely adding items above to my shopping list (and I found some great humorous sticky notes).
