Backpack and Rain Jacket recommendations

<p>Does anyone have recommendations (what has worked well or not for you and/or your student) with Northface backpacks and rain jackets? Popular models, colors etc., Any comments on the below models? </p>

<p>We visited on a rainy day, it seemed like every third person
was wearing a all black North Face rain jacket.
With their logo on both the fron and back, they are hard to miss.</p>

<p>No backpack for DD…Vera Bradley “Go Round” tote :). She has the North Face Venture women’s rain jacket in ADPi blue! She loved it and used it A LOT!!! She also has very cute blue flowered Sperry rain boots to match.</p>

<p>LLBean has a waterproof backpack…but I’m not sure what girls carry.</p>

<p>Yes, lots of kids have North Face or similar rain-jackets…and some kind waterproof shoe…like a Sperry duck or Clarks version or rain boots or something.</p>

<p>I think some examples are mentioned in the What not to wear thread.</p>

<p>D started off using her Vera Bradley tote but ended up switching back to a back pack 2nd semester. She ordered it off of eBags; don’t remember what brand though.</p>

<p>As for a raincoat, she got a Marmot brand from REI and it’s worked out well.</p>

<p>Dankine packs are supposed to be the in brand for girls
and one of the few in available in houndstooth</p>
