Backpacks!

What, in your opinion, is the best backpack (in terms of comfort, style, etc.)?
What backpack do you use?
Are you getting a new backpack for the coming school year or are you reusing your old one?

I have the Eddie Bauer Adventurer backpack, and it is so spacious and comfortable, though its a hideous combination of yellow and gray, though I really don't mind, since this bad boy can hold multiple textbooks without a sweat. I'll be using it for the second year this fall.

Author's note, backpack = backpack, roller bag, messenger bag, purse, tote, etc.

Really?!?

My backpack is brown with pink flowers and I’ve had it since seventh grade. I don’t actually use it…I just put it in my locker on the first day and carry my books in my arms.

I’ve been using the same one since like 8th grade lmao… so I’m of no help. But, I’m interested in what people have to say, I definitely wanna get a new one for next year.

Wow, another thread started by a girl about school supplies…

Sorry if that came off as sexist.

I’m not a girl.

I’m a backpack.

That’s the best you could do? :(

I think I’ll just be using the same JanSport bag again.

@Repede - You’ve set your expectations way too high when it comes to a backpack’s sense of humor.

I get a new backpack every other year because it makes me excited to go back to school and it’s something I look forward to.
I currently have a Vera Bradley laptop bag, it fit two text books which was plenty and all of my binders. It limited my novel carrying space but I just stowed those in the locker
I’m currently seriously considering the new Vera Bradley puffy backpack cos it’s cute and I like it.

I used to hate backpacks and only used purses/bags, but a few months before junior year ended I found the perfect backpack- it’s the Jansport jean backpack.

It’s cute and it works for me

Black Jansports ftw.

I don’t even carry a backpack to school. I have a small purse for my school supplies, and just keep everything else in my locker.

Northface let’s gooooooo!

I have this blue, green, and black Jansport bag. I used it for both my junior and senior years. Needless to say, we’ve been through it all together! My backpack has watched me transform from a hard working junior with rising popularity to an uber popular senior who won homecoming king and skipped Anatomy class all the time! My backpack is my best friend; however, I might retire it in favor of a new backpack for college.

TeamJansport

My black Jansport! It’s the classic kind with the one large pocket and one small pocket. It works great!

I have this LL Bean book bag I bought before 7th grade started. I’m now going to 11th and after I repair a minor rip on the shoulder strap, I think I’ll be using Ol Faithful for the 5th year in a row. LL Bean book bags are very sturdy so if you’re looking for something long term I’d look in to one.

I have a black Jansport backpack that my sister gave to me. It’s big enough that I could fit in it if I tried (but it’s not that bad considering I’m 5’0.5" and less than 100 pounds). I just carry a bunch of useful crap with me - which is why my backpack is usually full.

This coming year, my senior year, I probably don’t even need a backpack. All I need are a black pen, red pen, some pencils, an eraser, a folder and maybe a planner. Sure I won’t have my useful crap but it’s not like I’ll use it to help anyone in my grade.

I comfortably carry >25 lbs in my Everki Titan.

I’ve been using Nike/Under Armour since 6th grade but I think it’s time for a new brand. These bookbags just aren’t wide enough for my binders. However, we are changing schools next year (our school system moves us to the high school for our 10th grade year) and they don’t allow bookbags in the classroom so I’m not sure what I’m going to do.

I’ve used a pink/black plaid Jansport one for about three years now and it’s been great! There’s so many pockets to keep everything organized.
