Hello I am in desperate need for some help because i really messed up bad by two C's one in a regular ore calc class and one in honors English.
These two C's will bring my cumulative unweighted GPA down to a 2.9 but I calculated it and if i get straight A's next semester I can finish the year with a Weighted GPA of 4.2 and and UW GPA of 3.4 would those be good GPAs to get into schools such as UF, FSU, Pitt or USCB please help im desperate.

Don’t freak out about it. It has already happened and there’s really nothing you can do about it except move on and improve. At this point, what will help you the most is an upward trend starting now and through senior year. So, yes, all A’s next semester would be beneficial and show that you’re not messing around. It will look like you had one bad semester. That’s not that big of a deal. Is there a particular reason for these two C’s? And what were your freshman/sophomore grades like?

You’ll be fine for some schools if you get the straight A’s or as close as you can possibly get. Provided you get good SAT scores and have decent ECs.
These chances are assuming you get the 3.4 & that brings your cumulative to a 3.1-3.2 or so and 3.5-3.6 weighted…
UF: get a 1950 to make it a high match 2100+ to make it a match
FSU: 1850=high match 1950=match
Pitt: 2000=high match 2200=match
UCSB: 1900=high match 2100=match

My grades freshman/sophomore year were mostly B’s and A’s only two C’s combined and what do you think my chances of getting into UF, FSU, PITT or UCSB are and thank you for the reply

My EC’s have been good 300+ service hours i have taught CCD since 8th grade, help special olympics students to swim. I have also been swimming for 10 years on the same team i swam since freshman year of HS and I have been playing Water Polo since my sophomore year

Wow, the special Olympics thing sounds really cool and unique! definitely write about that experience.
