Bad GRE scores, how screwed am I? Anyone from admissions?

410V/670Q, computer science major. Had a panic attack (literally) during the multiple choice, though I was very confident during the AW.

Retake is out of the question; I won't be able to take it until finals week (perfect timing), followed by a research paper deadline. This is why I hate standardized tests... all my hard work goes out the window because of one exam. But I digress:

3.75/4.0 overall, 3.95/4.0 major
Three year undergraduate degree
NCAA DI athlete (large time commitment)
Have formal research experience from summer
One outstanding LOR (faculty/advisor), two very good LORs (faculty+coach)

Before today, I was shooting for UW/Cornell. That's a lost cause now though, I suppose. Is it unreasonable to apply to schools like VT/UVa might still accept me?

Thanks

EDIT: Ph.D. track

Bump. Anyone?

No one is answering because you asked for feedback from someone “from admissions.”

Those scores are indeed low; however, you have to go with them if you don’t have time to retake.

Are you screwed? It’s impossible to say. Read Graduate Admissions 101 to understand why this is so. Your minimal research experience may be more of a negative factor than your GRE scores. If you don’t mind the time and money to find out, apply this cycle. Have a Plan B ready (research, retake GREs, etc.) in case you need to apply again next year.
