Bad Idea?

For Sophomore Year, it's almost guaranteed that I'm taking Honors Precalc/Calc A, so I figured it would be a good idea to self study for one of the AP Calc exams.

Would it be a bad idea to cram Calc ABC in one semester? Should I just stick with Calc AB?

Stick with only AB. I did the same thing that your planning to do. I had precalc during sophomore year, and I self-studied Calc AB.

Well actually, I learned all of Calc AB the week before the exam. Never studied before it. Didn’t know anything about Calculus. I ended up getting a 5.

The reason I recommend sticking with only AB is because you’ll have nothing to take junior and senior year. I’ve also heard that for BC, you probably need a teacher to explain some of the more complicated topics.
