Bad karma to have school Tshirt ready for decision day?

TrinSF: what's a 'stuffie?'

At my daughter's spring dance studio they introduce the seniors and have them announce where they will be attending college. The first year they did this they had two seniors, one going to Stanford, one going to Harvard. Sure helped the dance parents feel they couldn't blame dancing on lack of academic achievement.

That sort of announcement can be a bit iffy for some. I remember being asked to put something similar into a bio for a drama showcase in my last year at school and having to explain to my teacher that I hadn't got into the super prestigious school she thought I was going to, and ending up putting nothing in because I had no idea where to go :(

Personally I don't see the attraction of wearing shirts from a college you don't attend. I only have shirts from my college :)

I'm hoping my preview weekends/open houses will give away free, fun, tshirts!!!

SpringfieldMom: A stuffed animal? A plush toy? The college has a stuffed animal version of their mascot.

The funniest tshirt I read about was:

HARVARD
THE AMERICAN MCGILL

My son wears all his (freebie) college t-shirts from all the colleges he applied to, and also his sister's old college t-shirts. If he reaches a final decision at his first choice's accepted student's weekend I've told him to BUY himself a hoody! :)
