<p>It all depends on class rank and competitiveness - an intangible factor.</p>
<p>Selective colleges will weigh your achievements in the context of the opportunities you had available. If your school has no APs and you take other measures to increase academic rigor, they'll take that into account. Accordingly, I have to presume they'll appreciate the challenge at a top HS.</p>
