Hey guys,

So I know that there are several dance troupes at Penn, but I'm curious if there are any designated to strictly ballet. While I understand that my main focus will be my academics, I really really want to continue the ballet focus that has been a huge part of my life since childhood, and if I get on campus and feel that it will be impossible to continue, I will be very disappointed. Does anyone have any advice, or experience with a similar situation?

Thanks so much,

Hi. Although I dont know about Penn, Philly has some great studios that you can take from. There is The Rock School, Koresh studios and Christopher Flemings new studio. They all have great ballet classes. Good Luck!

Hey! You should definitely check out Penn Ballet–it’s a new ballet company at the University of Pennsylvania, just recently founded in 2009. The company does amazing stuff!
