Bank Asset Question

My school sent me a student asset verification form. On the form i need i write down how much is in my bank account account (checking/saving) and other accounts. Do i have to put down exactly what i put on my FAFSA, or can i put what i currently have in my accounts? I am wondering because the amount i have on the fafsa and what i have now very very very less. I fear that because at one time i had a higher bank account that i will mess up my fafsa score or whatever it is. When i filed the fafsa, i reported i had about 5k which is true at that time, now my current bank account just barely has 100 in it

Read the form from your school very carefully. The form we received for verification asked us to “verify” (state for sure, like taking an oath) the amounts we put down on the date we filed FAFSA, not the current balances months later.
