I applied and it said I’ll receive a notification by April 30th. I was wondering if anyone has received anything and how many people applied. I’m from California, as well.
Hello! I applied as well and I am from the NYC district. I didn’t receive anything, but I had an interview.
Did your district had one? The interviewer told me that 200 people applied in NYC, and 20 were selected for an interview. From there they will pick 10, and then the finale 5.
I’m very anxious, but all we can do now is wait.

I have also been selected as a 2016 Student Leader. I’m from California, and was notified by email.
Selected !!!..received an email and am from El dorado County CA.
I got accepted via email and a personal call. I’m from Tempe Arizona.
