@paris17 I didn’t but I wish you the best of luck hopefully we’ll get in
But it would be nice to travel to DC honestly, but hopefully, everything settles by then. @simonkaz
Alright, after sleeping on the information gathered from yesterday I am more confused now than ever. Here is my attempt to piece together the puzzle, and I would like to reiterate that this is completely speculative, no one really knows!
Although, there is one thing that is bugging me, user @lumen3141 says he/she received a phone call congratulating him on acceptance to the program. This doesn’t make much sense because of yesterdays e-mail… but maybe his/her market released earlier? This is my only explanation.
I believe BofA is currently scrambling to come up with alternative programming as in DC (where I am from) there has recently been a surge in corona-virus cases. Some models project our peak infections/deaths to be late May, so traveling here in a large group would be almost impossible. This alternative program planning has delayed decisions as BofA is trying to figure out what the program will look like and explaining it to us before handing students acceptances.
Speculating a date or time is quite literally useless. It will cause additional people to stress. Go by official statements (such as that sent to us yesterday) and understand that decisions will come early next week (whatever that means).
We are all metaphorically sweating bullets about this and perhaps I am not the only one clutching my phone waiting for the buzz of a phone call, or frantically refreshing my e-mails ever couple of minutes. This being said, I encourage each one of us to think deeply, this program is much larger than us. Whatever happens, happens.
I hope you all have a restful weekend, and enjoy some quality time with family. Go outside! Kick a ball around! Watch a movie!
And finally, DONT THINK ABOUT BOFA!
godspeed anon
@crispey I’m from the Riverside Market and I had an interview.
Hi! Yes, I fortunately received a phone call. I am yet to receive email confirmation, and I’m assuming we’ll get it that same time next week (I received the same email from yesterday). I’m unsure as to whether all those selected from the Miami market were called.
They let me know some things about how the program will run, and I don’t want to overshare until they release info but the program is still happening; despite potentially looking a bit different in structure!
Did Pittsburgh (Allegheny County) have any interviews? I don’t think so, because it’s a smaller city but now I’m paranoid.
that’s awesome, congrats!! did you have an interview?
@morningstar1219 Nope! That’s why I thought I was for sure out of the running, but apparently I wasn’t so don’t stress about whether you had an interview or not!
I don’t know if my market has a lot of applicants, but Miami is a fairly big city and I still didn’t have an interview so take that off your mind!
@rxicana well I guess that sucks for me then (I had no interview). Good luck to you.
Anybody have any speculation about when they will release? Early next week as in Monday or Tuesday?
I’m suspecting Tuesday because Monday is Easter Monday
I just hope it’s not any later than Tuesday, there is so much uncertainty right now. I hope they release to all markets at the same time. I’m in a small one and hope they don’t delay it because of size.
Yeah me too I live in riverside county and I also had an interview
Riverside, CA?
Ok then I definitely got rejected. Good luck to yall.
did anyone in new jersey get an interview?
Is it coming out today or tomorrow?
I think it may be tomorrow because its Easter Monday but that’s just a guess.
I hope it comes out today… I keep refreshing my email.
I guess it’s coming out tomorrow then…
