Banks near Northwestern

Hello everyone,

I know posted something earlier about banks, but I can be a little more specific now. I am going to be living on South Campus, so downtown Evanston is going to be right there. I’m opening up a bank account really soon and I want to know which banks are near Northwestern. I really don’t want to use USBank as my bank because the nearest one to my house is a 30 minute drive.

I prefer one of the big names, that way I’m more likely to find one of their banks if I go somewhere else. I am aware that there is a CitiBank in downtown Evanston. Any other banks?

I live in Evanston and there is a J.P Morgan Chase branch right in the downtown area. The other big banks in the area are Bank of America and BMO Harris but their branches are not so close to campus. There are smaller banks around as well.

Just from a location/shortest walking distance standpoint, is there a specific one you’d recommend (including Citi)
