Barcodes !?

Has anyone actually received their barcodes?

I haven't, and I submitted Part I about 3 or 4 weeks ago.

I haven't, and I called them and told them this, they said just to write my student ID # where the barcode should go.
(If you don't know your ID # you can call or email them)

maybe theyve decided to do away with barcodes?

No, they will send you barcodes eventually. They tell impatient people to write their id numbers in the box.....lol, i'm jk! :p Seriously, last year I had to put my number in the box for recommendation forms that I had to submit in advance. The barcodes came in my mail around late October/early November, I recall.

I got mines a few weeks ago.

I sent in part 1 in august, and in the beginning of october i still didn't get anything so i emailed them. Then in 14 days they replied back that i can just write my USC ID# instead and that i should recieve my labels in 10 days. Its been another 14 days and still i recieved nothing. I grew impatient and just wrote in my ID#.

I sent part 1 in JULY. still haven't gotten 'em.

hm.

Haha. They did that to me last year when I applied. It took so long to get the barcodes. After I called them furiously I received the barcodes within 2 weeks. And then they kept sending them! I only needed like 5 and they must have given me over 50. Just call USC and ask them what is going on and tell them you want them immediately.

I did that a month ago.......still nothing. :(

noo... yeah, i'm worrying about that right now too. not sure what to do exactly.

they were pretty kool about it when I called in early sept and got them in 1-2 weeks

I just got mine the other day...

guys just find out your student ID # and write it on stuff, its so much easier

where is the student ID at?

call the admissions office.

Is the ID# anywhere online?

I doubt that you will find the ID online yet. Call the admissions office (I know, there's the phone holding time) and they'll definitely tell you. The ID# is a 10-digit number. BTW, if USC is your 1st choice and you do get accepted, better start memorizing the ID#. It will be the same one you will use for the next several years...

It sure is my first choise, not sure about being accepted though. And I'll call 'em, thanks a lot :)
