Hello, everyone. I am a rising senior and my dream school is Barnard College. I was wondering if any Barnard students could give me some advice on how to get in. I know Barnard is a super competitive school to get into and my chances of getting in are very slim, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips when it comes to the application, specifically the supplemental essay questions. My sat score is below average for the school, but I have a 3.95 GPA, by the end of senior year I will have taken 12 AP classes, I’m president of my school’s National Honor Society, and I have been active in women’s organizations and political organizations in my community. Barnard is a perfect fit for me and as soon as I toured the campus I fell in love with it.
So as I was saying before, if anybody who currently attends Barnard or anybody who knows somebody who goes to Barnard could give me some advice on how to increase my chances of getting in, it would be greatly appreciated. I am also very interested in Barnard’s political science and history programs because I’ve heard so many great things about them, but I would love to hear more about them from students who attend Barnard as well. Thanks!
