I heard this was the best book to self-study stats with so I bought it and now I'm currently using it to self-study for the AP Statistics exam. The concepts aren't hard yet some of the questions after each chapter (two to three) are some what challenging. Is this book supposed to be harder than the actual test like other Barron's books or is it similar?

Yeah I find it to be hard also. Good thing i bought a textbook, otherwise i wouldn’t have understood it.
I think they want you to use this as like a supplement with a textbook. They said in the intro that it’s best if you have a textbook and/or stat teacher.

Hm thanks, it is a little difficult compared to the textbook I have with it (The Practice of Statistics by Yates/Moore/Starnes). But if this is going to be the test then… ehh… It’s certainly no ap psychology.

I’m studying for AP Stat this year as well and I have been reviewing out of PR and Barron’s, for other exams as well, not just Stat. I have also found that Barron’s has problems that are more difficult than other books. After reviewing for exams out of several different review books in past years and this year, I’ve come to the conclusion that PR is the best across the board for the exams I’ve reviewed for. Barron’s is good for testing more of the concepts in ways that are more challenging than other books, and the 6 full-length practice tests are very nice to have available. But PR seems to work better for me as far as being close to the actual exam, from what I’ve found so far.
