<p>I am taking Math 2 this weekend and I have a question about prep. I have both Barron's 8th edition and 7th edition. 8th edition has 370 pages of review, while 7th edition has 135 pages of review. </p>

<p>Why is there such a huge disrepency in the amount of material between these two editions? Both of these books are older versions (printed in 2000 and 1998). Does it matter which book I used to study? I can probably cover the 370 pages in a week, but is it necessary?</p>

<p>They used a smaller font and tried to compress everything in the older edition. The newer one was "expanded" so that it's easier to read. </p>

<p>In truth, the older edition had more material & more tests, but it was a pain in the tush to go through.</p>
