Barrons SAT II Bio. typo?

Ok so I'm reading barrons and at first it says that bacteria lack chloroplasts, then it says that some bacteria undergo photosynthesis, but how is this possible in prokaryotic cells with out chloroplasts? Thanks!

I’m not sure about your question, but Barron’s prep books indeed have a lot of typos, and sometimes there are mistakes in the values of constants or the “correct” answer choice to a practice question.

[Let me google that for you](http://■■■■■■■.com/2w3cebo)

:) not a typo

Ty for being so resourceful!

Pigments need not be contained in chloroplasts in a prokaryote.
