Barron's SAT Physics enough for 800?

If I read all the chapters on Barrons, do many problems, and get above 720+ on the barron’s tests, will I get 800 on the real one?

Bump

You writing the test October 1?

No in november

@RiceEater108
How was the test today??? I studied only from Barron’s and found the real test to be more conceptual than Barron’s which focussed on application. What about you?

I studied only using a Barrons review guide; even with the curve I’m not really impressed by how I did. Barrons is much more application but the test appeared to be much more conceptually.

@nailuj123 What’s the curve?

Nobody knows the curve for sure, but in my barrons practice book, 60/75 (15 omitted) is the cut off for a 800). And while I didn’t omit 15, I’m absolutely sure that I get at least 10 wrong.

@nailuj123 I got around 780-800 in barons practise tests but only 740 in the real thing :frowning:

How did you do?

I got 690, 690, 730 on Barron’s. 710 on college board. And I got 780 on the real SAT Physics.

I think I might have gotten a bit lucky, because the test was on concepts I was more familiar with.
