Bathroom storage for Honors Fresman Girls

Okay, let’s be honest:

The MOST important criteria for Honors Room Selection for a Freshman Girl just might be the size/storage available in the BATHROOM AREA.

Based on this assumption, is the best choice Ridgecrest South, East or West???

Huge and multi-colored collections of cosmetics want to know…

Personally, the bathrooms at South and North are sizeably bigger to me - the shower stall is a square as opposed to a triangle (as they are in East/West). You can see this when you go onto the floor/room plans and count the square tiles in each (you do this sort of thing when your S is 6’3"). I also think the sink counter area is much larger in the South/North than the East/West bathrooms, so there’s where all the cosmetics are going to be, right? (4 tiles wide in East/West vs 6 tiles wide in South/North)

Never having been in East or West, the floor plans are all I have to go on and I (being an architect, and all) reached the same conclusion.

The pictures of the bathrooms in RC E and R C W. seem dark…I remember RC S seeming pretty light and spacious.

More opinions???

The sink area in RC South and North has drawers for each girl and lots more counter top space. If RC East and South Bathrooms are like Riversides’ (which I believe they are) there isn’t nearly the storage space around or under the sink.

Both plans have shelving in the shower/toilet area. In RC S/N it is open wire shelving. The pictures for RC E/W show the same tall cabinet that D had in Riverside.

Two of these 3 drawer carts fit side by side beneath the lowest shelf in the RCS bathrooms. They work well for additional storage.

There is exactly enough room for two this size.

Can’t help with the comparison or attest to the number of cosmetics one can store but here are photos of RCS bathroom.

There is one typical size single door wall medicine cabinet on the left wall not shown in this photo.

Bathroom shelving that bamagirls refers to. If you look closely you can see a part of the medicine cabinet that’s not shown in pic #1

In Ridgecrest West, you have a large area under the sink for storage (my D has cosmetics stored in multi-drawer Sterilite containers that letter size paper would fit in under there, but many different sizes of container would fit). In the room with the shower and toilet, there is a tall (floor to ceiling), relatively narrow cabinet with multiple shelves that provides additional storage.

I like the bathrooms in the RC towers better than those in RC East/West, but not necessarily for storage reasons. Although I stayed in the south tower during Bama Bound, I didn’t pay much attention to bathroom storage at the time. Overall my preference is for East and West, but the towers definitely win the bathroom contest, IMO.
