Batman or Superman?

Duh, it's Batman.

Batman.

Only because of this: <a href=“Howard says "I'm Batman" - YouTube”>Howard says "I'm Batman" - YouTube;

I have a life so I don’t know.

I don’t have a life so I do know. Are you proud that you don’t know the complexities of Batman’s psyche? I know I wouldn’t be.

I think batman’s awesome (definitely my favorite superhero), but I do think he’s over valued, and is not nearly as amazing as he’s played off to be. On the other hand My second favorite show is Smallville. And I think that despite how intelligent and tactical batman is played off as being, in real life superman would be able to fling him into the atmosphere before the kryptonite took effect.

Definitely Batman! I don’t like Superman that much :l

Ironman beats all superheros though! It doesn’t hurt that Robert Downey Jr. plays him in the new movies ;D

Neither. :</p>

Batman for sure. Although the trailer for Man of Steel looks very promising.

Go read the Cracked article on this.

It’s called something like Five Reasons Batman is Objectively Better Than Superman.

@goodnoodle, the author of the article actually uses that as a reason Batman is better; the fact he has weakness.

wonder woman

Kal-El all the way (love smallville).

Batman, though I do kinda dislike the way Nolan’s movies have made him somewhat overhyped (here’s hoping Man of Steel does well and rebalances the focus).

Nolan’s movies are quite literally perfect superhero adaptions…so it maybe “overhyped” but with good reason.

Batman has no superpowers and is motivated by plain rage and pain as a result of his parents’ murder.

Superman is practically a god and the only element of excitement is “how is kryptonite gonna be used in THIS comic?”

Gigantic wealth aside, Bruce Wayne is a regular human being. He gets injured, he has to come up with new technologies, handle his emotions, deal with people who think he’s just a dangerous vigilante, etc. Also, he has a legitimate costume.

Superman only has one way to be injured, which gets old really fast. Like efeens said. Superman kicks butt, then oh no Kryptonite. What is he going to do now? Morally, he’s pretty much perfect. Yawn. And taking off your glasses and putting on a cape conceals you’re identity? Please.

Superbatman>

Oh, and the post above.

I also dont know about these things, but from what I do know… Superman. So Batman’s parents died… so he decided he wanted to protect people, so he became a bat… with point little ears… My siblings are more into than me, and I guess batmen made alot of enemies/super villians? Superman just seems like a more realistic guy. Whose not dressed up anything special (though i kind of perceive him as a jerk).

Superman is an alien from a far off planet whose only weakness is a rock from said planet and whose perfect morality makes for some pretty boring “moral issues.”

Batman witnessed his parents’ murder and many believe he went insane. The post-traumatic stress disorder, once again many believe, is expressed through Batman. Wayne is a broken man who’s one true wish is to be happy, and his only true way to be happy is to avenge his parents’ death, which to him, and because of his insanity, is never ending. Batman is constantly facing moral dilemmas; he does not kill, first of all. This is especially interesting because Batman can always be killed; Superman really cannot be. So, Batman is constantly refusing to do what every enemy he encounters would do to him.

Batman>Superman.

/thread

I just saw the Dark Knight Rises for the first time today. And something occurred to me. In addition to proof of the non-Kryptonite injuries and the emotional toll being the Batman takes…SEVERAL people have figured out that Bruce Wayne is Batman, even with the costume. So the fact that nobody notices that Clark Kent is Superman with a hat and glasses just doesn’t seam realistic.

Batman because he is a rich playboy. I haven’t watched DKR though.
