Easier said than done, but please don’t worry. My DD’s portal said we’re reviewing her application and then they sent us the email to look at the portal for acceptance. Remember that even though she was EA, the I2E application was there as well. I honestly think they’re filtering out the apps for the event invites, going through them, and then sending admissions out in that order. They are coming:)
Numbers just popped up in my daughter’s Baylor ID! I hope this is good news!!!
Yay!! @helimom3!!
@ppst I hope so! FYI my daughter applied EA but could not attend either I2E event due to conflicts (she let her counselor know that she couldn’t go so didn’t apply).
@helimom3 when did your daughter submit her application?
Still no numbers here! I am so frustrated…
For those of you who just got numbers in the Baylor ID spot did you (or your DS) apply for any special events or anything? Or just regular EA?
@jacobcook7337

She interned twice in the summer
Relatively low SAT of 1320

She didn’t attend I2E, applied EA 8/28
my friend didn’t. he applied ea and he didn’t even do all of the recommended items @shelbyp112233
i meant that he didn’t apply for any special events. i didn’t either, but i was accepted. @shelbyp112233
I am very frustrated… I have to tell my school if I am leaving or not in just a few days so what if I say I am leaving and then don’t get in… Spring semester is approaching so fast ugh
talk to your counselor about your situation and that your deadline to let your current college know is in a few days. @shelbyp112233
do you know when he submitted his application/ when the last item was sent in?
9/28 on common app and 10/20 for transcript and recommended items
well I guess he did apply before me so maybe that’s why. Was he accepted or does he just have a baylor ID right now?
i think just the baylor id number
talking to your counselor would be the best bet though. I had numerous questions and they were always so nice to me!
@jlw7632, I wish I had an admissions counselor that was so helpful! Mine has literally NEVER replied to me despite several emails, on simple issues. It is bizarre. I assume my stats aren’t impressive enough to warrant a reply, or maybe he/she is sick? Still listed on the Baylor website as the correct counselor, however. I don’t want to reveal the name for fear of retailiation. But this is 100 percent true.
The counselors have been very supportive. Please talk to them @shelbyp112233
I know I just have already and they said it was just taking longer than usual and I don’t want to see too annoying/ obsessive/ pushy by asking again. I know they are so busy and probably hate questions asking about when they will find out
