Baylor University college life

I live in southern California and I will be going to Baylor in the fall, I've never been to Baylor and I know that wako isn't exacly the greatest place, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me about Baylor's campus.

Hi! I am a senior graduating this May from Baylor University! I was born and raised in Arizona, so I know you must be excited but a bit nervous to move to a new town with new people, but don’t worry - Baylor makes you feel RIGHT AT HOME!! When I first moved to Waco, I thought I was going to hate it (but love Baylor), but it will grow on you!! There’s all of the big city amenities with the small-town feel. And if you really miss Nordstrom :), you are only 2 hours from Dallas or Austin. Baylor is BEAUTIFUL. I have cousins that go to Pepperdine and, yes, there is the ocean, but you will feel you are at a truly higher institute of education. There are four dining halls (great food! I had a meal plan for 3 out of my four years! you won’t go hungry here!), awesome library everyone hangs out at, across campus is a 15 min. walk, wonderful SLC (the gym) with a rock wall. I cannot tell you all of the great things about Baylor! Tonight, I just had dinner at my professor’s house, I text her (and she’s 54!), there is two stepping for under 21 (I didn’t learn it until I got here!), and once you turn 21, there are great bars to hang out. Everyone here is SOOOOO friendly! My best advice to you is 1) Can you still sign up for Line Camp for this summer? It will change your life, especially since you are out of state and 2) Go to ALL of Welcome Week when you get here!!!
